Thursday's rehearsal:

Starting and stopping from the top of the play.

Act 1, scene 1 onward. Everyone called for rehearsal.

We will run scenes as much as possible, stopping, as needed, to work on blocking and to work on moments in each scene.

Bring your script, a pencil to write down your blocking and be ready to have some fun!!!

Memorize your lines!!!

We have the big theater at The ArtsCenter from 4:00pm - 9:00pm on the 19th of December.
This theater seats 355 people.

We'll rehearse from 4:00 until 6:00. Break from 6:00 - 6:30.

The show will start at 6:30.
We don't yet know how long the show runs, let's say 2 hours, so the show will end at 8:30. We'll have 30 minutes to clean up the space.

Start thinking about costumes; they should be simple and something you can move in easily.

I'm getting props next week, we'll have them by Tuesday's rehearsal.

Get off book (memorize your lines)

Danielle has been kind enough to make Bottom's donkey head. Yeah!!
Abi has volunteered to do the flyers. Yeah!!
Emily has volunteered to do programs. Yeah!!

I suggest we ask for a suggested $5 donation for adult admission. That way, if people (parents) want to contribute more to The Woods Charter Theater fund, they can. Let's say kids up to 18 get in free.

If there is anyone you know who can't make the 6:30 show, you can invite them to watch our rehearsal at 4:00.

That's all for now. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!! Jeri Lynn

Hey guys!

I have tentatively rented the big theater at The ArtsCenter in Carrboro for Tuesday, the 19th of December from 4:00pm - 9:00pm.

It is not available the weekend (the 16th or 17th) before at all. It is also not available on Monday, the 18th. It is also not available for the Thursday before, the 14th.

Since the theater is so huge and we might fill it easier with one performance, I'm proposing that we have one performance on Tuesday, the 19th of December starting maybe at 6:30. We could use the time before to rehearse in the space.

The other option is to have two performances on Tuesday, the 19th of December, one starting at
say 4:30pm, going till 6:30pm, take a short break then the second starting at 7:00pm going till 9:00pm.

I'm waiting to hear from the Community College in Pittsboro. I still think that The ArtsCenter is our best option right now.

I really really want you guys to give me your input. So, anybody who is able to read this and respond over the Thanksgiving weekend, let me and the rest of us know what you think.

Thanks!!
Jeri Lynn
